Q: What is Meter, Mix, and Dispensing?

A: The process of precisely measuring, blending and controlling the movement of reactive materials. You can equate Meter, Mix and Dispensing to baking two cakes - when the ingredients are measured, mixed and poured correctly, the cakes will rise, look the same, and taste great (consistency, repeatability and accuracy), any variance and you have two cakes that do not taste the same, or even worse, you have a cake that tastes bad.  Applying this to Meter, Mix and Dispensing: automation provides the qualities you need - consistency, repeatability and accuracy.

Q: What is encapsulation?

A: The process of enclosing your product in a reactive material such as epoxy to protect and preserve the components.

Q: What is potting?

A: The process of embedding into a container with an insulating or protective material. (Also Vacuum Potting / Encapsulation)

Q: What is Thixotropy and how does it apply to my needs?

A: Thixotropic materials reduce in viscosity when stirred or under pressure. A common Thixotropic material is Ketchup. When static, it is thick and viscous, when stirred, it is easy to pour.

Q: Why would I need a filler in my material?

A: Fillers serve many purposes, from decreasing the amount of material needed to increasing conductivity; fillers are necessary for certain applications. Our systems handle Soft fillers used in extending materials or Mechanical & Thermal fillers used for material property enhancement.

Q: Why is Material Handling key to my product?

A: Proper material preparation and processing yields consistent results. The key to consistency and repeatability is found in the conditioning of materials. We provide systems to address aspect of material conditioning equipment available to ensure you dispense a consistent quality product.

Q: How does a Progressing Cavity pump work?

A: A Brief explanation is that a Progressing Cavity pump incorporates the use of a rotating single helix drive device, housed in a static double helix elastomer stationary device. The path formed creates cavities for material to flow through. The pump works by moving materials through these cavities in an endless motion.

Q: Is continuous flow possible?

A: Yes, we are one of few providers who can offer continuous flow with no pulsation.
