Material Management Units™ can feature anything needed to ensure an accurate, reliable and repeatable dispense.

Most of our MMU units are equipped with:

NeverEmpty™ – Our NeverEmpty uses our proprietary tanks in complement; the onboard computer senses material levels, estimates the time of replenishment, and prepares a second set of tanks. Once specified quantity levels are reached, it transitions to the other set of tanks, creating an endless supply of material for dispensing, eliminating any shortages, downtime, or prep time.

Agitation – Stirring of material prior to Meter, Mix, or Dispensing. It can be at specific intervals, continuous or it can sense when it reaches a specific viscosity and agitate until another viscosity level is reached. Many materials that incorporate a filler require agitation to ensure the fillers don’t settle.

Heating – If accuracy and repeatability are key to your dispensing application, you most likely will need some degree of material heating. Heating material to a specific temperature ensures a consistent shot each time you dispense, removing environmental factors and varying viscosities. We can heat the entire system, or if you have a specific requirement, only the tanks, hoses, or create specific heat zones to a specific temperature or viscosity.

Degassing/De-Airing – Some materials act adversely when they are not properly degassed or de-aired. If your dispensed product cannot contain any gas or air bubbles during the dispense or on the surface, you must de-gas your material prior to dispensing. Degassing removes bubbles, entrapped air, gas, and blemishes in the materials. Contact your material provider to find out how much and what type of degassing/de-airing is necessary to achieve your goal.

Desiccant Dryer/Nitrogen Blanket – Removes and guards against moisture from the dispensed material. The dry air is monitored; simply replace the desiccant dryer when it reaches its limit. You can easily swap the dryer, maintaining an uninterrupted drying process.

Material transfer pumps – Conveying material from one location to another has never been simpler when integrated into your Material Management Unit.

Progressing Cavity Transfer Pumps – Exacting accuracy and low-shear factors make Progressing Cavity Transfer Pumps ideal for conveying material from one location to the next. Our Progressing Cavity Pumps are designed with efficiency in mind; using up to 99% of the material in the drum – eliminating waste!

"Auto-fill" remote material – Our Material Management Units can be designed to auto-fill from a remote location; alleviating downtime for material replenishment.
