The most common is the Static Mixer, most Meter, Mix, and Dispense applications involve the use of Static Mixers. Fluid Research offers static mixers to suit almost every application, ensuring that we can provide a solution to accurately and consistently mix and dispense your material with no exception. Dynamic Mixers are needed when two materials do not mix together. Think of a dynamic mixer as a blender; when you pour oil and water together in a blender, they stay separated. However, when you turn on the blender, they mix together until the blender is turned off. A Dynamic Mixer maintains the ‘blended’ consistency; then when the product is dispensed, it dispenses in the correct form factor.
Materials difficult to mix use Static-Dynamic Mixers. Static-Dynamic Mixers are the marriage of a static mixer and a drive motor to spin the mixer’s element. The motor rotates the Mixer element in the plastic tube, creating combination of both Static and Dynamic mixing. Static-Dynamic Mixers don’t need to be flushed since they are low-cost disposable mixers.
